The Nuyorican Poets Café

In conjunction with the Satya Graha Forum, legendary storytelling organization The Moth invites the public to share personal stories on the theme Making Peace. To participate, craft a five-minute story about Making Peace: The laying down of arms, the olive branch, the surrender to the greater good or the fierce battle for an even playing ground. Stories of all manner of amity welcome: peace with a nation, a neighbor or a notion. Ten stories will be picked from a hat and a panel of judges selected from the audience will determine a winning storyteller.
